Paige is 4!

Paige turned 4 on March 10th!  It took me a few months to take her yearly pictures.  But regardless here they are.

One thing about Paige as a 4 year old.  She loves to doodle, or write notes.  She is constantly writing little notes and of course she has to keep every. single. one. of. them.  She is also a collector or a hoarder!  She has so many little 'treasures' and melts down when I try to de-clutter her room.  Paige keeps them tucked away in so many weird spots too.  She has this thing for collecting rocks too.  She can't get rid of anything she has to hold onto everything.  They are all very near and dear to her heart.

Paige is spunky.  At times she has so much attitude I am not sure what to do with her.  She is friendly and loving and cares for others.  She can make anyone smile or giggle.

Paige cracks me up.  She has so many great one liners that just make me laugh.  Once she said (while getting in the car) "I'm hotter than sweaty pajamas!"  Who says that?  LOL  Oh she makes us laugh.  Although I find four year olds harder than two year olds, we love our Paige so much.  I am worried about the teenage years.  This girl will stay up until 1 or 2 in the morning if we let her.  Sometimes she stays up well past Aaron and I.  She is such a night owl and a pain to wake up in the morning.  Ya wish us luck!

Being an older sister has been a good thing for Paige.  Especially now that Ginger is a little older and can sort of play along side Paige.  I see Paige including Ginger in her games, always giving Ginger the role of baby and having patience with her.  I hope they continue to be good friends.

My girls!  They started out looking exactly the same, but they have grown into their own looks and personalities.  I love them both and think they are beautiful.

Ginger is 9 months (May 1st)

So I guess I got a little ahead of myself.  As I was catching up I forgot to include a few other significant events in our lives.

Ginger turned 9 months on May 1st.  She is doing great.  She started crawling just before she turned 8 months which was shortly after we got home from Disneyland.  She has not figured out stairs yet.  And when the kids go upstairs she sits at the bottom screaming, hoping someone will take pity on her and carry her upstairs.   It works.  Her scream is unbearable.

These pictures were taken in June, so just pretend they were taken in May.  Life was a little crazy and busy in May (by my own choice) so we tried to make up for lost time by pretending these were her 9 month pictures!  Her hair is a lot longer than it was when she was 9 months.

She has got such a spunky personality!  She absolutely adores and loves her big brother and sister.  She will give them hugs and kisses.  She likes to be included in all things Jack and Paige.  We love her so much.

At Ginger's 9 month appointment her weight was 16 pounds 14 oz (9th percentile) and her height was 27 in. (30%) She is such a tiny little thing.

Lost Tooth

Jack lost his first tooth!  It was back in April.  I was being a crazy mom and ended up taking him to the dentist that morning.  His tooth had been a little loose, then he and Paige bonked heads which caused his tooth to become really loose.

When the tooth came out I thought it looked a little red.  Apparently that is normal!  Haha.  Anyway he was totally fine.  That night he put his tooth under his pillow.  The next morning Jack found a gold dollar coin.

Sweet!

Easter Pics

In all my catching up I forgot about Easter.  We had a pretty low-key Easter this year.  The day before I organized a little egg hunt at the park for people in the ward and neighborhood.  It was fun.  Then later that day the kids and I went to a friends house for another hunt.  The kids got more candy than at Halloween!  It was fun.

Ginger got her first taste of a lollipop!  She seemed to really like it.

This set of friends leaves Paige being the only girl!  She seems to do just fine with all these boys!

A little while later I finally got the kids in their Sunday Easter clothes and took them to the temple to take their pictures.  Jack and Paige were both a little nervous with the huge grassy hill.  But other than that they were troopers and I appreciate them for humoring me.

Ginger was grabbing Jack's ear and it tickled him.  He was laughing pretty hard.

This might be my favorite picture from the day.

See Jack was so worried about Ginger rolling down the hill.
