Ginger 2 months

WARNING!!!!  LOTS OF PICTURES AHEAD!!!

At the beginning of the month Ginger turned 2 months old and had her well baby check up.  She was a whooping 9 pounds 12 ounces.  Still in the 25th percentile for weight, the doctor did say that her weight gain was average.  She is growing and developing on track and is a healthy baby.  We work hard to make sure that she chooses her left and her right.  We dealt with a flat head with Jack and don't want to do that again.  The doctor confirmed that her head shape is looking good.

Ginger at 2 months:

She is so good at holding her head up.  She actually like tummy time!

This little girl spits up a lot, well at least more than Jack or Paige ever did.  Apparently she is still in the normal amount of spit up.  So I had to include a picture with some spit up bubbles.

When I look at these pictures I just want to reach into the screen and kiss those cute chubby cheeks.

Ginger likes to stand.  Also I wanted to get a good shot of this cute onesie my mom got her.  She has some pretty strong little legs.

On October 2nd Aaron blessed Ginger.  It was such a crazy weekend that I didn't take any pictures.  It ended up being General Conference weekend and so we just blessed her before the first session on Sunday morning.  We decided to have her blessed that weekend because all of my family was able to come that weekend or already going to be in Utah.  My brother Matt, who lives in California was going with Young Men from his ward to go to the first session on Saturday.  My brother Cameron, who lives in New Mexico decided to go with some friends to their mission reunions.  My parents were able to come out as well.  So it just worked.  My grandma even came up from Salt Lake area.  We also had some family friends join us for the blessing.  It was a nice group and we are so blessed to have so much love and support.

We have a family blessing blanket.  All of the kids names and blessing dates are embroidered on this fluffy white blanket.

I almost caught her smile.  She has a fabulous smile and it makes waking up in the middle of night all worth it.

North Logan Pumpkin Walk 2011

Of course we had to go to the annual North Logan Pumpkin Walk.  The kids and I went during the day with some friends.  We got there a little bit before them so we goofed around for a little bit taking pictures.

Ginger is so good about either sleeping while the kids and I go out and do things like this or just being content.

Pretty Girl

Jack was in a kung fo mood.

Twirling

A family favorite was the Angry Birds display.  It was well done!

Here the kids are with their friend Tyler.

I liked this one.  The water feature is cool.

The kids thought that the fish were big pickles.  Umm... I think they are zucchinis

Of course Tangled was another favorite.

We ended the walk with a visit with the witch.  Don't worry she is a nice witch! ;)

We tried to go back the next day but at night.  I think it is neat to see the scenes at night and all of the carved pumpkins lite up lighting the paths.  However our little pumpkin walk as become not so little and very popular since we moved to North Logan (about 8 years ago).  In the evenings there are so many people that they offer a free bus ride that picks up by our house (a few blocks away) and then drops off at the pumpkin walk.  Aaron and I thought that it would be fun for the kids to ride the bus.  After walking to the bus stop we waited in the line for the bus for about 30 minutes.  We got off the bus and saw what looked like two or three lines of people.  It was hard to tell since it was dark.  I stayed in the first line with the kids while Aaron scouted it out.  He came back and said that it was one giant line.  It would have taken us an hour or two in order to get to the entrance of the pumpkin walk.  We turned around and got right back on the bus.  The kids were a little bummed that they couldn't show Aaron the pumpkins but we promised to go back the next day and we did.  During the day there are less people and no lines.  I love the tradition of the pumpkin walk!
