Finally Finished!!!

I have been working on refinishing Jack's bed and the crib since January! We started with Jack's bed, so that he could move to a big boy bed after Christmas since Santa brought him a mattress. The bed frame was my dad's bed when he was growing up. We sanded it and then stained it black. Since I was impatient we brought an outdoor stain because they didn't have any indoor stain and didn't know when they would get any in. Well the out door stain took forever to dry and so we sanded the crib and decided to spray paint that and the changing table. It seemed that everyday I had free to spray paint, the weather was not good, either windy or rainy. So finally this past weekend I got it finished and Paige slept in her own bed last night for the first time since, well I don't know when! It took me trying to burrito wrap her and prayer! I got such a good nights sleep last night! Woo whoo, way to go Paige! Oh and my mom made both the bumper for the crib and Jack's quilt. I think that the bumper looks awesome with the black.

Weight Watchers

I started weight watchers two weeks ago and at the first weigh in I had gained 2 pounds. I was a little sad, but then decided to change some things and yesterday I weighed in for week 2 and I lost 2 pounds, so I am back on track! So hopefully I can continue down this path. It is nice to have the support from my friends and family as I am learning how to make better choices with eating.

Paige is three months!!!

Well she was three months on the 10th, but it has taken me awhile to post. We love how happy Paige is and how she is content to play with her toys for hours. She still likes to sleep in the swing. Not sure how to break that habit. As she becomes more active and responsive, Jack interacts with her more and more. It is so much fun to watch them grow and learn. It still looks like Paige is going to have blue eyes, which is fun.

My newest niece is here!

My brother sent me a text msg saying and I quote "baby is here". That really wasn't enough info for me, so I called and she was born at 8:29 this morning and weighed 7lbs 5oz and is 20 in. long. I am so excited. We get to see her in a couple of weeks when we head to California. I am not sure what they are naming her, but they were thinking about naming her Abigail. So we will see what her name ends up being. The baby came so fast that my sister-in-law was not able to get the wonderful epidural. Way to go Katie!
