We are super excited to add another little one to our family. We took the kids to my first appointment knowing that they would get to see the baby in the ultra sound. They are both super excited and are thrilled. I wish that I would have had a camera while I was getting the ultra sound. Because Paige had the cutest most confused look on her face. The doctor gave Jack and Paige their own picture of the baby. Paige would not let go of hers for awhile.
Jack is a pretty smart kid (not that this is news) and while we were looking at the baby and making sure everything was going well, Jack asked if the movement on the baby was its heart! Yes it was. Then the Dr. asked if he wanted to hear it and of course Jack said yes. He keeps saying that he can't wait to meet his new baby brother or sister. As of now both have said that they think it will be a sister. We will see!
The due date is set for August 13th. Jack will be 5 and Paige will be 3. It should be fun to have a new baby at the end of the summer.
