Oh No!

So I was feeding Paige today and Jack was being very quiet. If I would have had more sleep I would have realized that his silence was going to get an 'Oh No' reaction, but I didn't even think anything of it. In fact I was thinking that this is nice and relaxing and it is nice that Jack is being so quiet. So after Paige was done eating I went to open the office back up and unlock the door, as I was walking back into the apartment I saw what Jack was doing so quietly! He had gotten into the cupboard and dumped out the box of baking soda. He not only got it all over the floor but also poured some into my boots! Thanks Jack! I guess he thought they were stinky. I went to grab the broom to start cleaning up when someone came into the office, so I put the broom down to help them. When I came back, Jack had decided that he would help me clean up! He was taking handfuls of baking soda and putting it on the dust pan and then pouring it back on the floor. What fun it is to have a curious toddler. I was laughing and so had to take a few pictures. When I called and told Aaron about it he laughed too, but then said well it's funny the first time but if he does it again it might not be so funny. Well he won't be doing it again for awhile, because I have no more baking soda. So I guess I will be going to the store to get child locks for the cupboards and more baking soda!

Onslaught of posts!!!

So I have been without my computer for some time now and that is why I have not posted in a long while and that is why there are tons of posts now. I have been going online and writing my posts but wanted to add pictures so that is why I am only now posting them. We finally have the computer at our apartment with internet. It is amazing how hard it is to live without internet!

We are all moved....finally

The BedroomMy Scrapbooking Space!!!

The Kitchen

The Living room area

We did all the moving on Thursday May 8th and the unpacking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As we moved our stuff in and found new homes for our belongings, Aaron and I kept commenting on how much more space we have then we had anticipated having. The best part about the space is I have a home for my scrapbooking supplies. In the kitchen there are two pantries. We didn't need the second one for kitchen items and it opens up right to the kitchen table and so I put my scrapbooking supplies there. I am so excited that I have a place for that stuff. It totally made my Mother's Day.

Jack has been such a trooper with all the changes that his little life has gone through in the last couple of months. I have to admit that he has watched more than his far share of Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go. He has adjusted to a new baby and a new home really well.

Here are a few pictures of our little home... I will email our new address, but our phone numbers are still the same.

Paige was 2 months old!!! (on May 10th)

So I finally have internet on my computer now. I have been typing my posts but not posting them yet, so here come a bunch!

She has grown so much. They always grow fast but I had forgotten. Here are a few pictures of her at 2 months. She is smiling a ton these days, but of course I couldn't catch one with the camera. She is definitely a mama's girl. I am now beginning to understand the pain that some of my friends have been experiencing with their own kids. Paige is a cuddle bug and loves to be held and rocked, which is always nice to do because she usually smiles at you and makes cute baby noises while you are rocking her.

It's my birthday!

I was feeling a little sorry for my self this morning. I woke up sick and Aaron is still gone (we miss him) and Jack had hurt his ankle the other day and Paige is also not feeling so great (she is on a neabulizer--sp?) and its my birthday. But then I realized that I have some awesome kids, who are so fun and cute and an awesome husband who takes good care of us. Plus Aaron and my mom are getting me a Cricut Expressions! So my birthday is not so bad after all. I still wish I was feeling better and that Aaron was here but oh well I got to hang out in my jammies with Jack and Paige, who also stayed in their jammies!

These pictures were taken last Monday, after they were taken we ate cookies and drank milk in bed while watching Dora on Aaron's laptop. Jack is such a great big brother.

The Call

Cameron, my little brother, got a nice big envelope on Friday with a return address from Salt Lake. That's right he got his mission call! I am so excited for him. When my mom called and told me he got the envelope I was like ok so who do we still need to get a hold of so he can open it, and she informed me that Cameron had decided to wait and open it after his date that night with his girlfriend. So at 1:15am my time I got a call from my mom. After I was put on speaker phone I could hear my dad and brother who were also on speaker phone with different phones, some of Cameron's friends and of course Cameron. So with everyone there or on the phone (except my sister, she didn't hear her phone ring while she was sleeping), Cameron opened his nice big white envelope and proceeded to read. He got called to the Charleston, West Virginia Mission! He leaves July 23rd. I am so happy for him. I think my friend and former roommate served in that mission. He is going to have a wonderful experience. I am so proud of you Cameron!

These pictures were taken on Easter and the first one, Cameron submitted with his mission papers.

It was bound to happen!

The odds were working against Jack yesterday, for two reasons. First reason is he is a little boy playing at the park, he was eventually going to get hurt. Second is that Aaron left town this morning. Whenever Aaron leaves town Jack gets sick or hurt or something. The poor kid didn't stand a chance! After taking Jack to the doctor yesterday afternoon and having x-rays done the doctor determined that there are no broken bones, which is good. It seems that Jack just pulled some ligaments while stepping off of some playground equipment and rolling his ankle at the park yesterday while my sister was watching him for me. He was in pain yesterday and today seems to be doing much better. He has a cool bandage with dinosaurs on it and some motrin in him. Once he figured out that he can still get around by crawling he really perked up and has attempted a few times to put weight on it. So hopefully we can get through the weekend while Aaron is gone with no more sickness or accidents!

He is at least smiling today!
