I had grand plans to do more for Valentine's this year. But my energy seems to be quickly disappearing. Plus with Aaron's recent surgery, those grand plans never really came a reality.
My mom sent some Valentine's envelopes. Which was on my list of things to make. So I was super happy to see these. It was a wonderful surprise.
The kids woke up on Valentine's morning to find their envelopes filled with little goodies, thanks again to Noni!
The one thing I did do was make pancakes in the shape of hearts for breakfast. They were covered in a very yummy strawberry sauce.
All three kids had a special something to wear on Valentine's Day. Ok so looking at the pictures and typing this post is making me realize that I was able to do more than I originally gave myself credit for. Way to go me! Anyways, since we have the perfect Valentine's backdrop, aka our front door, I snapped a few pics of the three of them. It is a little difficult getting all three to cooperate. But we managed. I like them this way since that is how they are. Wiggly and squirmy.
I must have gotten Ginger to see me and smile!
I also took the opportunity to take individual shots of each kid. They are so stinkin' cute.
I love this face.
The Saturday before Valentine's Day, Paige was invited to a little tea party with a handful of little girls on our street. She was so excited and a little worried that real tea would be served, since we don't drink tea. I tried explaining to her that we can drink herbal teas but they don't taste very good and I didn't think that they would serve real tea at the tea party but probably have juice. I wanted to have her special Valentine's outfit ready for her to wear to the party so I woke up early and got it finished moments before the party started. I had enough time to curl her hair pretty and take her picture.
I love this face too!
More about Ginger is in a previous post. She is 6 months old and such a happy baby.
Of I love this face too!
