Exciting news!!!

My sister is engaged! Stephen proposed to her on Sunday and we are so excited and happy for her. Then this morning I checked my email and we found out that Aaron's sister, Jessica, is pregnant. We are so excited for the new ones joining our family!

So some may now that we have been working hard to get our house rented. Well let me re-phrase that, Aaron has been working hard to get the house ready to rent. Either way, I wanted to post some pictures. I think that the house looks soooooo good. We are currently looking for renters so if anyone knows anyone who might be interested please let us know. We replaced the carpet in the upstairs and tile in the bathrooms, storage room, and laundry room. We also had the house re-painted through out, replaced light fixtures and door knobs.

Some old friends!

Well we aren't "old" but here are some faces from my school days. From left to right: Lindsey(me), Kelly, Katy (bride), Jenny, Leah, and Sunny. Katy got married and we came to her reception. She is so gorgeous! It was exciting and fun to see everyone and see how well we are all doing. Jenny is going to give my mom a run for her money for the title of baby snatcher! She snagged Paige shortly after I walked through the door. I really enjoy when people are baby snatchers, because it gives me a chance to relax a little. Hopefully next time I see these girls its not in another 5-7 years! Its been awhile!

Pioneer Day

I took a picture of the shirt my mom made for Jack. It is pretty cute. Jack calls my brother Cameron, Teeta. No idea why!

We decided to head up to Bear Lake for Pioneer Day. We had a good time. Jack really enjoyed playing in the sand and water.

Princess Paige is relaxing in her throne which was placed out of the sun in the castle(tent).

See you in two years!

We took Cameron or should I say Elder Ryan to the MTC yesterday. It was interesting. They have a little 30 min thing that is mostly for families. There were lots of missionaries running around the MTC, and I mean literally running around, I almost got ran over!

Here we are in front of the MTC!

My Mom helping Cam get his name tag on.

Are you ready for this? You can't really see it from this picture but they put an orange dot sticker on Cameron's name tag. We were laughing and saying that he got a "dork dot", then during the little program they called it a "celestial dot". Whatever it is called it was classifying Cameron as a newbie and in need of extra assistance.

Paige just chillin' in her own chair.

After we left the MTC we went to Raging Waters. Cameron was already missed.

They had a play area for kids and Jack played there the whole time, mostly with Papa, my dad.

Help anyone?!

Does anyone know of someone who can take good pictures? Once again I did not have good experience at JC Penny Portrait studio, I don't know why I keep going back there. All I want is someone to capture my kids and their personalities. I took Jack and Paige to get their pictures taken today. I wanted some together and then individuals of each. So Jack is 2 and yes he was kicking and screaming at one point and crying. I told the photographer that I don't care if we get some of him smiling, I want to capture his fits, that is totally fine with me. I want to be able to look back and be like yep that was my two year old at his finest. So needless to say there were only a few shots of Jack by himself, because she wasn't able to get him to smile very often and only one of the two of them. Add in the fact that we had to wait about 30-45 min. With two little ones that is not fun. Sometimes I go to kiddie kandids but they are kind of pricy. So does anyone know of anyone in Logan who does qualilty work and is not too expensive to take pictures? Oh and doesn't make you sit around while they are doing who knows what? Let me know. Thanks

A Classic Shot

This picture of me and my siblings with Santa is a classic. Mostly because it totally shows our different personalities. As you can see my brother Matt is happy and totally oblivious to what is going on around him, which if you know him, that is Matt for you. I am holding both Meghan and Cameron trying to make everything work and so forth, which as the oldest I think that I always try to do. Meghan and Cameron are screaming and/or trying to get free. So when we took some family pictures we decided to try and re-do the classic shot. It is was funny that we all knew exactly what to do.

Moon over Logan

Last night we went over to the house to check on things. There are some problems with the finish work of the new flooring however while we were there, we were talking to our next door neighbor and he was watering his lawn. Jack decided to play in it. He would stand next to the sprinkler long enough to make his shoes squishy and then he would walk across our driveway. It was funny. He was so wet. As we were driving home there was an awesome shot of the moon. It is views like that, that make it worth living in Utah.

Mischief

One of the disadvantages of working from home, is that sometimes Jack gets into things that he is not supposed to when I am not looking. I was in the office while Jack was eating breakfast and I came back into the apartment to check on him and he was squatting on the table and casually says "hi mom" then says "look monkey!" (referring to the salt and pepper shakers) and then proceeded to dump the salt on the table.

Check-ups

Jack and Paige had their well-baby doctor visits today. I thought it was going to be way worse than it actually was taking both of them in at the same time and without the help of Aaron. Jack weighed in at 24.6 pounds and is 34 inches tall. He is still 50th percentile for height and 15th percentile for weight. He is doing great and is a typical two year old.

Paige has increased to be 25th percentile across the board (she was at the 15th). She weighed in at 12 pounds 5 oz. and is 23 inches tall. She started solid foods over the weekend and is doing well with them. I am happy to report that both kids are growing and developing normally. Oh and Paige is rolling over from her tummy to her back. Just as we were leaving California, while Aaron and I were gathering our stuff, my mom was watching her and she just rolled over. My mom started saying "your baby is rolling over" and Aaron and I dropped what we were doing to watch her perform again. She is close to rolling from back to tummy.

Happy Birthday Jack!!!

Jack is 2 today!!!
While we were in California we had a little family birthday party for Jack. The Keep family also joined us. The kids went to the SLO Children's Museum and then we meet everyone for lunch at the Mission. The night before my mom and I made a Diego Cake. I think that it turned out pretty well. All I wanted was for Jack to realize who it was and he did.

What the picture looked like, not too bad huh?

Jack playing in the museum. They recently re-did the exhibits and there was a floor just for toddlers. The best part was the kids couldn't escape without us knowing.

Jack is driving the fire truck, it also had lights that really worked.

Beach Boys

Jack loves the beach! He was so excited to go in the water. He did really good when the waves came in and only went under once. We went to Avila Beach.

Tired boys after a day at the beach.

No fireworks!

It was no surprise when it was so foggy on the night of the 4th. We decided instead of dragging three kids out in the cold with a big crowd and not even be able to see the fireworks that we would stay home. We had a fire in the outdoor fire pit thing and my mom had a bunch of glow bracelets. We could hear the fireworks and now I think that Jack has the wrong idea of fireworks, because he kept saying shush I hear fireworks. Not sure if he knows how cool they can be! We had fun. It was also fun to see my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Greg, and my cousin Cami and her daughter Billi.

The Parade!!!!

The theme for our float was Christmas in July. So we had reindeers, elves, Santa, Mrs. Claus, a Palm Christmas Tree and a Sand Snowman. It was so much fun. We won best of theme and got a big trophy. Since my parents are moving and chances are won't be in the parade again, they gave the trophy to my parents! Jack did so good. He sat on my lap as a little elf and waved to the crowd and bounced to the music and feel asleep towards the beginning of the parade literally in mid-wave. I think that he was the most photographed of the parade. People were taking pictures of him when he was awake because he was waving and being all cute and then once he fell asleep more people were taking pictures of him. Paige slept during the parade too, but she was in the van with my dad.

The moms were ho-bag elves. Can't see it really well but we had shirts on that look like bikini tops with knee high socks and our version of mini skirts.

The back side and Aaron as a palm Christmas tree with a seagull flying above and my brother Cameron as the Sand Snowman

Someone thought it would be funny to put sunscreen down the back side of Aaron to look like bird crap. It was hilarious!
